On this journey of developing

Speaking to someone has not always been my favorite thing to do but I knew that it had to be done. On this journey of developing Authentic Conversations w/ Ms. Simone, I needed to learn and make sure that the words I spoke were effective, efficient, and encouraging.

This comes from many tests and trials of being misunderstood, having to over-define/explain what I was saying, and my excessive need for pleasing people; that will be discussed in another blog soon. Communication is defined as the active process of exchanging information and ideas. That made me think even more: if it is supposed to be active, then it should be encouraging and necessary. If I am going to speak to someone—stranger, family, or friend—I need to be able to discuss anything with them.

I began to do more research and learned the 4 types of communication and then became totally convinced that this is something that I wanted and needed to share and educate about. Yes, I have a degree in Professional Counseling; however, here at Authentic Conversations, these sessions will be more towards coaching. There is no diagnosis involved. If you want to be referred to a therapist, it will be provided; for I do know some of the best in the Valley.

The coaching will depend on you. This is a place for you to get to the core of who you are.

Reflective Questions for Your Authentic Journey

  • Where did you drop the ball?

  • What have you been overwhelmed with in life?

  • What do you need to say but are afraid to say?

  • Do you know how to say what needs to be said with just the facts?

  • Are you being your true Authentic self?

  • Do you need help with your spiritual self? Do you need help with organization?

Authentic Conversations is more than just a coaching service—it's a safe space for growth, transformation, and learning how to communicate your truth. If you find yourself relating to any of these questions, or if you're ready to step into your authentic self, you're not alone. Join me on this journey and let's discover the power of real, honest conversations together.
